Newer PC Hardware Designed on More than Performance

Performance and price may be the two most important factors for most PC hardware shoppers, but other consumers are watching other specifications too. Information like the actual size of the processor or card and how much power consumption is required are also heavily weighed upon factors before purchase.

It seems that Nvidia understands what their customers are looking for in the graphics card division. They offer several different GeForce models to choose from, including cards with different performance levels, prices, shapes, sizes and power consumption rates. Users have a large variety to choose from based on these specifications and should be able to find a graphics card that fits their needs and type of computer.

AMD is right there beside Nvidia with offering a wide variety of Radeon graphics card products. If you aren’t set on purchasing an Nvidia branded graphics card, it may benefit you to take a look at AMD. Several cards are similar to another Nvidia product, but may offer a different price or size that will better suit your needs.

Although AMD is a potential leader in the graphics card industry, they also create computer processing chips. In fact, AMD recently released nine new Operton processors, all with different specifications designed to meet anyone’s needs.

The Operton processors are available in two different series (4300 and 3300) and feature between four and eight cores. But with these high-performing chips, it’s rather surprising that they were all designed to use the least amount of power necessary. In fact, one of the quad-core Operton processors only uses about 25 watts of power!

It seems as though these top companies truly understand that people work hard for their money and like to get the best product for the best price. Whether you are looking for a great performer, a small graphics card or a chip that can save you money on your electric bill, you’re sure to find the perfect computer hardware piece for your lifestyle.
