NVIDIA Promises Windows 7 Compatiblity!

One of the most frustrating things for PC users to do since the release of Windows 7 is to find drivers that work properly. Poor Quality drivers can cause all kind of problems from features not working properly to nothing working at all, which can be pretty serious when your graphics display is involved.  Of course, windows 7 will provide VGA display drivers so you will get a picture but you won’t like it very much.

According to NVIDIA, their new graphics drivers provide, “a dramatic improvement in the way the Windows operating system takes advantage of the graphics processor, using it for both graphics and computing through the GPU-accelerated Microsoft DirectCompute API. This enables not only more visual and interactive experiences but also the speed and responsiveness that customers want.”

They have released windows 7 compatible driver for their GeForce and ION graphics processors (GPUs). The new drivers are the result of collaboration between NVIDIA and Microsoft to provide their customers with a seamless gaming experience.

The new drivers promise compatibility with SLI and PhysX technologies, 3D gaming with NVIDIA 3d Vision.

Conclusion

With their promise of regular updates, NVIDIA does seem dedicated to providing the best gaming experience for its customers. Wheter everything works as promised remains to be seen.
